Did you know the black vulture, Europe’s largest bird of prey, is an endangered species? Especially on the Spanish island, Mallorca, the black vulture’s survival is fragile. I join the Fundación Vida Silvestre Mediterránea (Mediterranean Wildlife Foundation, FVSM), under whose umbrella the protection and recovery of the black vulture population exists, for an excursion to a mesmerising landscape, the habitat of the black vulture. There we’ll hopefully spot a seven-month-old ‘baby’ vulture.

Sometimes I’d wish to hear only half of the noise on the topics which are most important to me. The big mouths in politics and media who always seem there, but not speaking the message we need most — in my opinion. Instead we let ourselves be distracted by power games, by the pressure to be morally right and by opportunistic politicians who are using an event to promote their own agenda, the hard way.
